The first meeting of the UK Medicon Valley Bioscience Alliance during 2007 covered Regenerative Medicine, and was held in London on 24th January. 18 Academics and Biotech Companies from Medicon Valley attended a Workshop in London hosted by Kings College.
To mark the official launch of the Bioscience Alliance, UK Trade & Investment held a Dinner in the City of London on 23 January, attended by the UK Science Minister, Malcolm Wicks MP.
The second event of 2007 was the Diabetes and Obesity Workshop, held in Malmö on the 23rd April. Details of past events can be found on the News Archive page.
